Shubham (pronounced, ‘Shoob-hum’) graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in the top 3% of his class and has worked at some of the top-tier national and international law firms on Bay Street, where he acted for large scale public companies as well as for start-ups and medium-sized businesses. The long hours and complex nature of legal practice on Bay Street drilled into Shubham robust professionalism, diligence, attention to detail, creativity and a strong work ethic.

Since his last gig on Bay Street, he has ventured out to work with other lawyers on their business law matters as a ‘co-counsel’ (which is just a fancier way of saying freelancer). And having worked with many sole practitioners now, he has realized he loves being a freelancer.

Whether it be incorporating, reorganizing, restructuring, financing, lending and borrowing, selling or buying a business, he has the expertise in advising and acting for clients on a wide range of business law matters. He is also frequently engaged to help draft, review and negotiate all types of customized commercial contracts including service, contractor, consulting, agent, manufacturing, distribution, confidentiality, non-competition and licencing agreements.
