Experience:

Carrie has over 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer with extensive knowledge of evidentiary rules and legal strategy. Her current practice focuses on criminal law, but she has a background in civil, estate and family law litigation. Trial experience matters. In her own practice, Carrie has been trial counsel for a wide range of matters before the court from homicide, drug matters and sexual assault. She has prior experience as trial counsel on civil, estate and family matters. She has numerous reported decisions.

Carrie also sits as a deputy judge of the Small Claims Court. This gives her a perspective on trial matters from the bench.

Carrie is a member of the Criminal Lawyer’s Association and the current President of the Dufferin County Law Association.
