About
Eric assists lawyers and law firms with:
- All Legal Research and Writing in the area of family law (pleadings, facts, memos, Divorcemate forms);
- agreement drafting (domestic contracts, minutes of settlement);
- trial preparation (document review, examinations for discovery, drafting examinations);
- preparing for simple divorce, domestic agreements, probate applications, wills drafting from start to finish.
Experience:
Eric has three years of experience in family law. He did his summer internship at McInnis & Nicoll and articling at Mahdi & Leite Family Law LLP. He is still doing ongoing part time work for Judith Nicoll, while running his own legal practice.
Eric has experience dealing with various family law issues, such as children and parenting issues, child support, spousal support and complex division of property. He also has experience in child protection and adoption issues. He started his own practice in August 2021, and has helped around 100 clients with their matrimonial matters.
With an international legal background, Eric holds a Bachelor of Law from CUPL (China University of Political Science), and a master’s in public international law from Leiden University, the Netherlands and a Master of law at University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
